Grace Lutheran Church invites you to a special Celebration Sunday Worship May 22, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. 3010 52nd Street, Des Moines, across from Riley Park.

9:00 a.m. We will watch as guest Artist and Pastor Paul Oman paints a mural start to finish, while listening to several bible stories, the Chancel Choir, Grace Brass, and Grace Bells.

All are welcome to join us after the service for coffee, the artists workshop, and a lunch.

10:30 a.m. Paul Oman will be outlining a mural for the youth in attendance to color, then leading us through scripture with a slideshow of art. There will be time for questions.

11:30 a.m. Stay for a catered lunch of pulled pork, baked beans, and coleslaw. There will be a basket for free-will offerings.

You are invited to the front lawn at Grace Lutheran Church for our annual Pet Blessing.
3010 52nd Street, just across from Riley Park.

Everyone is welcome – last years pets and their humans had a very good and blessed time. If your pet has a hard time in a crowd, or has passed over the rainbow bridge, you are invited to bring a photo, toy, or other belonging that reminds you of them, to be blessed.

Light refreshments will be served after the blessing.
Donations of pet food are welcome (but not required). These are being collected for the Pet Project of the Midwest, which works to help keep loved pets in homes and out of shelters.
